All About Chaah!

I spent some time in a local coffee shop the other day called, The Coffee Block .
I ordered an Earl Grey tea and settled down in a chair.  Yummy huh? 

Well...yes but....as I got to talking to Sam, he offered to make up the shops specialty, Chaah.  It is the same as Chai but the word is Punjab rather than Hindi.  This recipe comes from northern India where the plant is grown.  He showed me how it is made and why it is SO good.  He makes it on the stove, no mixes, no additives, just the real thing.  It is the difference that makes the Coffee Block's Chaah so good!
